The Nanaimo Rhododendron Society (NRS) was established in September 1992. It is affiliated with the American Rhododendron Society, and is one of seven chapters in British Columbia, including four others on Vancouver Island and two more in the Lower Mainland. Please see: All about us:
The purpose of the Society is to introduce members and the public to rhododendrons through meetings, garden tours, and flower shows and to provide an opportunity to meet people with similar interests. Our regular meeting is at Beban Park, (2300 Bowen Road), in Nanaimo. Please apply for your membership at our next regular meeting.

December 10th 2024 – 9 am to noon – Hailey Grove Work party at Bowen Park. Parking next to the tennis courts. Bring your gloves and water, the City will provide the tools.
December 12th 2024 – Christmas Party at Beban Park (2300 Bowen Road) in Nanaimo.
5:00 pm for set-up, the event starting at 5:30 pm and the dinner will be served at 6:00 pm.
Please bring a pot luck to go with the turkey, and good cheer. There will be a silent auction of garden related items, door prizes, a Dutch auction and some mystery gifts.
