The Nanaimo Rhododendron Society (NRS) was established in September 1992. It is affiliated with the American Rhododendron Society, and is one of seven chapters in British Columbia, including four others on Vancouver Island and two more in the Lower Mainland. Please see: All about us:

The purpose of the Society is to introduce members and the public to rhododendrons through meetings, garden tours, and flower shows and to provide an opportunity to meet people with similar interests. Our regular meeting is at Beban Park, (2300 Bowen Road), in Nanaimo. Please apply for your membership at our next regular meeting.

February 13th 2025  – 7:30 pm – Regular meeting at Beban Park (2300 Bowen Road) in Nanaimo.

March 2nd 2025 – 10 am to 2 pm – Seedy Sunday at NDSS (355 Wakesiah Avenue), Nanaimo. Organized by Nanaimo Foodshare.

March 13th 2025 – 7:30 pm – Regular meeting at Beban Park (2300 Bowen Road) in Nanaimo.

April 10th 2025 – 7:30 pm – Regular meeting at Beban Park (2300 Bowen Road) in Nanaimo. Speaker: Janice Matson about Landscaping for the Seasons.

May 15th 2025 – 7:30 pm – Regular meeting at Beban Park (2300 Bowen Road) in Nanaimo.
